Facilities

The Daresbury Innovation Centre comprises a mix of over:

• 54 offices ranging from 137 sq ft (13 sq m) to 1178 sq ft (109 sq m)
• 21 hot desks and 5 laboratory units ranging from 742sq ft (68.9 sq m) to 1500sq ft (140 sq m)

The centre is staffed between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Security

State-of-the-art security system installed, comprising:

• CCTV with 24 hour monitoring and recording
• Tannoy system allowing remote guards to communicate with intruders
• Infra red intruder detection system
• PAC Readers on all external doors, ground floor internal doors and corridor access doors on upper floors
• At present the centre has 24 hour static guards

Cleaning, maintenance and decoration

• Carried out by Mitie Cleaning and managed by the Building Manager

Comfort cooling

• Centre is heated and cooled throughout via a comfort cooling system

Kitchens

• Kitchens on each of three floors with fridge, microwave and dishwasher 

Catering

• Sandwich delivery service
• Restaurant, deli-bar and shop on campus
• On campus caterer for small meetings to large conferences
• Vending machine for provision of snacks
• Milk delivered daily to the building

Car parking

• Immediately adjacent to the Innovation Centre

Rates, electricity, gas and water

• Covered within the service charge for office suites.  Laboratory suites have separately sub-metered electricity supply
