Partnership Programme
Building on its highly successful sponsorship programme, Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus (Daresbury SIC) is now seeking to build and strengthen relationships with a number of enlightened organisations keen to add value to, and derive opportunities from its rapidly growing high-tech community.
To do this, the Campus has introduced a new partnership programme, delivered through three packages: Gold, Silver and Bronze; enabling partners to formalise their relationship with the increasingly powerful Daresbury SIC brand and community.
These packages offer a range of benefits including opportunities to raise your company profile, gain introductions to potential partners and clients, and obtain market intelligence from campus companies.
A genuine partnership
As the Campus is keen to play an active role in these partnerships, those at the Gold and Silver levels will be offered to a limited number of organisations, whilst all partnerships will be given dedicated customer service and support.

Daresbury SIC is home to about 100 high-tech companies in areas such as Digital/ICT, Biomedical, Advanced Engineering and Energy and Environmental technologies. These companies are pre-dominantly SMEs, typically from the Northwest region but with an increasing number of international companies. Daresbury SIC companies are renowned for their low business failure rates (only 8 companies in 5 years) and high business growth (doubling of sales in 2 years).
With the Daresbury Innovation Centre being fully occupied, a grow-on facility, Vanguard House, will be completed in Q1 2011 to attract further companies onto Campus.

The BBN events were developed to accelerate the development of young and growing high-technology businesses and regularly attract around 150 decision-makers from the science and technology community in the region. This includes a wide range of high-technology companies (in sectors such as Digital/ICT, Biomedical, Advanced Engineering and Energy and Environmental technologies).
These companies sit at the core of our network and are complemented by organisations that add real value to this community including regional Universities, UK Trade and Investment, the Science & Technology & Facilities Council, investors (both angel networks and VC funds) and representatives from the professional community.

Daresbury SIC has a rapidly-growing high-tech network of 2500 individual members which is growing at about 500 per year. Today we have nearly 500 high-tech businesses predominantly from the Northwest region within thisnetwork as well as people from regional universities, business support organisations, international technology-focused corporates and the professional and investor community. We have about 700 unique visitors to our website each day.
