The Joint Venture

In December 2010, Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus (DSIC) moved into the next stage of its development as one of the UK's two national Science and Innovation Campuses by entering into a private-public sector joint venture with property investment and developer, Langtree Group plc.

The partnership forming public sector side of the joint venture consists of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), and Halton Borough Council.

This partnership paves the way for the delivery of circa 1 million square foot of space for science and innovation facilities, high-tech businesses and supporting infrastructure, bringing more than 6,000 new jobs to the area over the next 20 years.
